DnaMethylation [[Enzyme]]. [[DNA]] methyltransferase is an [[Enzyme]] whose function is to catalyze the transfer of methyl groups between molecules, in this case, [[DNA]].

[[CpG_island]] methylation은 Mammalian의 경우, [[Gene]] Regulation, [[Genome]] Stability, Embryonic Development에 관여합니다.

[[CpG_island]]의 경우에도 Methylation과 관련이 있는 것으로 알고 있는데, 구체적으로 Methylation에 대해서는 잘 모르겠네요.. 
ComputationalModelingOfGeneticAndBioChemicalNetworks 책의 Chap3(p78)에서도 poly(dI/dC)-poly(dI/dC)를 methyl acceptor로서 사용하여 TranscriptionFactor binding site를 찾는다는 내용이 나오는데, 구체적인 내용은 잘 모르겠습니다.
