AsynchronousJavaScriptXml

XmlHttpRequest를 이용하는 새로운 형태의 WebProgramming방법. UserInterface는 JavaScript가 맡는다.

AJAX는 다음의 기술들을 이용하는것.

• standards-based presentation using [XHTML] and [CSS].
• dynamic display and [Interaction] using the [DOM].
• data interchange and manipulation using [XML] and [XSLT].

• asynchronous data retrieval using XmlHttpRequest.

• JavaScript binding everything together.
