[Transcription]의 regulation의 한 방식으로써 [DNA]에 특정 [Protein]이 Binding하여 Loop을 생성함으로써 Expression 정도에 영향을 미치는 것을 의미한다.

• Repression : Lac [Operon] 에서는 repression의 기작으로 사용된다.

• Enhancement : Sea Urchin의 Endo16의 Regulatory site에서는 SpGCF1이 붙어 DnaLooping을 하는 것으로 추측되며, 그 결과는 weak stimulation of transcription.
