보통 Eukaryotic [Gene]의 세세한 모양이 어떻게 되는가를 묘사한다.

유전자내부에 exon과 intron이 존재하며, RnaSplicing에 의해 하나의 [Gene]에서 여러개의 transcripts가 생성된다. 이때, 해당 [Locus]에서 유래한 다량의 [EST]서열들을 가지고 있으면, MultipleAlignment및 몇몇 알고리즘을 통해 유전자구조를 예측할 수 있다.
