생명현상에 대한 궁금함 및 호기심들을 Hacking (특히도 전산학적, [Bioinformatics] 방법으로) 하고자 하는 사람들의 모임으로서 회원간의 원활한 정보교류 및 서로에게 배우는 SmallStudyGroupAndSeminar 모임.

특히도, 관련된 OpenSource 프로젝트들을 직접 운영하고, 기술문서, 논문도 같이 작성하고자 한다.

[URL] 창에 biohackers.net 을 적는다는것이 biohackers 만 적었더니, 자동으로 [Google]검색이 된다. 최신 구글툴바의 기능. 그런데 이런... 검색결과 페이지들이 온통 안좋은 내용들. 그 원인은 Experts worry that synthetic biology may spawn biohackers라는 기사때문. biohacker를 bioterrorist의 의미로 쓰는 듯 싶다. 특히도, 바이오정보를 이용해서 특정 oligonuelcotide를 합성하여 인류에 위협을 주는 의미로. 저 의미대로라면, 이곳의 [Domain]이름은 아주아주 나쁜의미인데...
