보통 HumanGenome을 30억bps라고들 이야기한다. 이는 3 Gbps, 이중에서 JunkDna빼고, 의미있는 부분들이 5%, 거기에, InformationTheory의 정보량개념으로 볼때 하나의 염기는 2bit라는것을 염두에 두면, 실제 생명의 정보는 30Mbyte밖에 안된다고. (from DigitalBiology)
