지금 막 끝나고 있는 따끈따끈한 서열들은 HumanGenomeProjectWorkingDraft에서 받을 수 있으며, 각종 GenomeBrowser를 이용하여 볼 수 있다.

이후 관련된 후속 프로젝트들이 진행되고 있다.

이 프로젝트의 원래 목적은

  • Human DNA 에서 모든 Gene의 동정

  • 30억 염기서열의 결정

  • Database에 결과의 저장

  • 이를 분석할 수 있는 도구의 향상
  • 관련 윤리적 문제의 연구
